Why Join?
Formed in 1890 as the Musical Protective Association of Denver, Local 20 was chartered by the American Federation of Musicians in 1897. Today, the 650+ professional musicians of Local 20-623 live and work in parts of Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.
Through the combined efforts and resources of our members, the Denver Musicians Association is committed to raising industry standards and positioning professional musicians in the foreground of the cultural landscape.
I've realized that so many of the best musicians in town are not members of the organization...and we need you...we need your voice, your ideas, your commitment to improve the state of all musicians. Like Pete Seeger said, "Participation, that's what's gonna change the world!"
The Denver Musicians’ Association represents more than 600 professional musicians in Colorado, and parts of Utah and Wyoming. Browse our site to find the very best professional musicians, groups, and teachers.
Need an experienced professional musician for your event? Look no further.
